Toshiro Jubei was a soldier who was visited by a monk, Chiroku. Jubei had never seen someone so at peace with the world. Chiroku spoke of dreams and journeys in the lands of the southern provinces for hours. When Chiroku was finished he walked to a balcony and turned to face Jubei, he spoke just one word “Sato” He looked to where he had stood and he was gone, .... but a silver Ki-Rin was seen leaping into the heavens. Jubei took this as a sign and traveled south, and by extreme luck found Prince Sato Yotaro.
