A young but relatively astute half-orc, Hatoa is a man that seeks his place among the birds and the beasts rather than the society of either of his parents. Although he does not consider himself an outcast, he finds the company of most individuals trying and minimizes it as much as possible.

Hatoa is a tall and well-built individual, standing at the tall side of humanity and the middling range of orc stature. His pale, greenish-brown skin resembles nothing so much as the bark of a maturing tree, and his dark yellow eyes grant him excellent vision at night without the light-blindness that afflicts his full-blooded orc brethren. He dresses in hide and leather, frequently accompanied by a fearsome bird he calls Shyati.
