Duvessa is the first woman to secure the position of Town Speaker in Bryn Shander, the trading hub and heart of Ten-Towns. Known for having both a sharp tongue and a keen talent for negotiation, Duvessa has led the council as ably as any speaker in recent memory.

Though she is a grown woman, Duvessa's slight frame and sparkling gray eyes lend her a girlish air. She typically dresses in shirtsleeves and trousers, with a vest or coat in the latest fashion.
