Ellie Dovehand

Layers and layers of clothing hide a face and body; but blue eyes peer out always from under the hood. Those eyes are the only thing easily visible between a cloth shawl that covers her forehead and hair, and a thin but dark scarf that is pulled up high over her mouth and nose. Even over those face-hiding accoutrements she always wears a cowl pulled up, but it never hides those eyes. Her eyes are blue, hauntingly so; both beautiful and yet with a disturbing quality about them, something unnatural.

Her clothes are drab colors, mostly dark purple and blue; muted colors meant to not draw attention. The cowl is attached to a set of robes that could perhaps have come from a cloister but lack any sort of decoration or marks that would once have signified denomination. The robes are segmented in flowing layers, and beneath the hem a simple pair of thigh-high leather boots can be seen with leggings tucked in and laces tightly done. Her hands and forearms are covered in a long leather gloves that disappear into her sleeves, leaving no skin exposed. The outfit resembles a somewhat vagabond assembly, though the warming layers seem appropriate enough for the frozen north.

Beneath it all, the sight is hauntingly beautiful, yet disturbing. She has no horns or any other indication of a tiefling or one with any devil lineage, and the natural, graceful beauty instead implies celestial heritage. However, there is something terribly wrong there.

Her hair is black; strangely black, too black, like a raven's wings in the darkest depths of the deepest caverns; it doesn't seem to reflect any light as hair normally would. Her skin is an ashy gray in color, as if all the blood beneath is absent, and her lips are dark crimson, though they seem to have no makeup applied. Her eyes, which could only be nominally seen before are now revealed in full; they still have the same shining icy blue with deepest blackest depths in the middle, and the eyes themselves seem to be lined in the deepest shadows, with 'wings' that trail off the far corners. The 'wings' trail downward then end in sharp points like strange shadow-tattoo tears.

Her hands are the same ashy skin color, but her nails are pitch black like her hair, and though she seems to keep them filed down short, they seem to come to natural, yet unnatural, points.

Laid bare, Ellie does her best to give off a disarming smile most of the time, though the look may still be unsettling.
