Jhagar Shariam is a tall, imposing man with a strong, streamlined build. Corded muscles speak of the long years he has spent working on ships at sea, bunching and rippling whenever he moves. His features are handsome and bold, if severe. His long, dark hair is black like midnight, appearing to absorb all light with barely any trace of reflection. He keeps a well trimmed beard up front, his cheeks shaven. His eyes are dark, appearing nearly as black as his hair beneath the dark brow that so often clouds his deep set gaze.

In most cases, Jhagar is seen wearing his Captain's uniform, including all of its decorations, or an even fancier (more expensive) court outfit. A well decorated sword, not for show or ceremonial, hangs at his hip at all times. It is a Talwar, a long scimitar-type blade.

Known for being very proud and hotheaded, there is no royal in the palace who does not respect or fear Jhagar for one reason or another. He is intelligent, strong-willed, and dangerous. It is well known that he aims for an Admiral position and intends to take it soon.
