Isolde Glibhammer stands tall -- well, for a dwarf -- and still carries the curves of youth, so she resembles a barrel somewhat less than most of her kin. She keeps her chin and cheeks shaved close, in the current fashion of a shield maiden. Her red sideburns and tresses are long and braided thickly, intricately, and adorned with small rings of iron and copper and beads of semi-precious stones. She wears a searing, determined scowl at times, with eyes of blazing green fire, but she is quick to smile -- not always at appropriate moments.

Isolde travels in heavy armor of finely-wrought chain, well-tailored for her, and a light steel helm. One strong arm carries a heavy shield of wood and iron, enameled with the icon of a blue hammer, and always near to hand is an even heavier iron-topped war hammer, the shaft of which is wrapped in leather dyed a matching blue. At her shoulder, the bulky shape of a crossbow hangs from one side of her pack. Her cloak, her boots, her gauntlets are durable, well-cared-for, simple but of fine quality.
