Trath's general appearance is best described as unkempt. His unruly black hair is short, but looks like a knife was used, without a mirror. His beard is also scruffy and uneven and covers a deep scar on his chin, a souvenir from a fight with a bear. His skin is like worn leather, dark and lined; belying his young age.

Trath is nearly always in his dark leather armour and knee-high boots covered by a mottled-green travel cloak. He carries a shortsword on each hip and with a longbow slung on his back.
