Andalon is a fair-haired young human of average height and build. He seems friendly enough with a ready smile and a kind word in most situations.

What he is wearing will depend entirely on where you meet him.

• On the boat exploring the rivers around Midmarch he wears travel-stained, leather armour with a dagger on his belt and looks like any other crew member or guard, although the golden key hanging on a cord around his neck marks him as a worshipper of Abadar - the god of cities, law, merchants, and wealth. When weapons are called for he has a morningstar and a light crossbow in easy reach, and a small shield painted in white, black and blue with an ant, a lion and a swan depicted on it.
  
• Away from the boat he is more likely to be armoured in full plate armour instead.
  
• If you happened to see him at the Cathedral of Abadar in Tusk City his white clerical robes and golden key holy symbol instantly identify him as a cleric of Abadar.
  
• On the rare occasions when more formal attire is called for Andalon wears a courtier's outfit consisting of dark blue academic robe with white facings with golden key symbols, white shirt, dark blue trousers and buckle shoes. The golden key he normally wears around his neck is replaced by an ornate silver key set with a topaz gemstone.
  
• Wherever you meet him he is most likely also wearing a white cotton headband with a stylised imperial dragon across his forehead.

Andalon is the bishop at the Cathedral of Abadar in Tusk City although the
position of bishop is officially called the Banker in the Abadaran church.

He is also:

• Chancellor-Dominus on the Tusk City Council and Bishop of Tusk.
  
• Lord-Dominus (Lifetime Patent) for services to the communities of Tusk and Midmarch.
  
• Knight of the Midmarch Chapter of the Brevic Knights.
