Personality: Trina is a bold, courageous young woman... always so concerned about the lives of those around her.  She patterns her life after her father's selfless heroism.  Every day trying to spread joy and happiness to those around her.  She is a staunch unyielding defender of the innocent!  She is a little self-conscious about being a half-breed ~ especially around elven nobility, but tries to prove to all who met her that she is a loyal and trustworthy friend.  She is a little shy about getting romantically involved with young men her age... raised to be a proper and modest young lady... but she secretly cannot deny her growing desires for the touch of a man she respects and knows as a friend... and who can inspire her heart with his own honor and courage!

She hates anyone who would spread pain and fear... despises bullies!  She loves poetry and dancing in the moonlight.  A consummate explorer always curious about what lies over the next hill or in the next mountain valley.  She will NEVER give up seeking her father... but feels she must hurry for his life cannot last as long as hers.

She craves magical knowledge and always tries to expand upon her magic skills and power.

Appearance:
She is lovely to the eyes, lean of figure, compactly clad in leather armor and breastplate that hug her every curve.  Only standing 5'4" or so her weapons seem out of place on her feminine frame consisting of a paired and scabbard broadsword and shortsword, and a long curved knife at her waist. A cloak and shield at her back and her bow and quiver of arrows at her left shoulder.

Background:
Trina's mother was the Elven maiden Deanaria "Gilderleaf".  Her village was raided by orcs and in the ensuing battle she was taken prisoner by the Orc Chieftain.  No doubt a fate far worse than death was in store for her.  But the orcs had not only raided the elven community but also the human communities as well.  So it was a great as great a surprise the her as to the orcs when Deanaria was rescued by a young, human, country, boy-hero named Fenn 'The Jr.' {Winters}.

Fenn 'The Jr' "Winters" was nothing but Special!  He was the bastard son of a pretty unsavory woodsman and nare-do-well thuggish man named Finnagin 'Stonesson' called 'Fenn' for short.  Fenn 'The Jr's' mother was never named by Fenn 'The Sr.'  As further insult and disregard for his son he gave him the surname of "Winter" the season he was born.  A grave insult as it was traditional to name bastard children with no family of their own after the season they were born in.  Fenn 'The Sr.' was known to be a mean unfriendly cheating sort involved in all sort of criminal activity.  Fenn 'The Sr' father, Stonnard, went off to serve in the militia and was killed by a bandit's arrow leaving his sickly wife, Marilyn, to raise Fenn on her own - already a rebellious sort, until consumption took her life when Fenn hit age 16.  Fenn 'The Sr.' just went from bad to worse from then on.

However, Fenn 'The Jr.' was his complete opposite, kind, considerate and loyal if a bit lackadaisical when it came to doing chores or serious work.  In that, Fenn 'The Jr' was amazing; because despite how much his father abused, bullied, and beat him the boy grew up strong and courageous.  One of those rare people with a heart of gold!  A true hero!

By about the time Fenn 'The Jr.' was 18 he had earned the reputation of a reliable - if a bit of a playful young man who was always willing to help those in need.  Feen Jr. was getting on as a huntsman and tracker of sorts when the Orc raids began.   The village of Oakwood, within Caithness Kingdom was attacked and several children were taken by the orc raiders.  Without any thought of his own safety Fenn Jr. armed with his longsword and longbow tracked them down and attacked!  His intention - to save the children or die trying!  To his surprise he found... the elven maiden Daenaria as well.

Though they did not realize it at first... it was love at first sight between them.  Fenn rescued the children and Daenaria returning the children to Oakwood and then volunteering to take Daenaria the long journey back to the safety of her people in ~ The Great Forest.  Fenn's shy, gentlemanly, country honor and his unyielding courage and self-sacrifice in the face of danger charmed the elven maiden's heart.  On the long journey   back to her people Fenn time and again faced certain death in her defense to protect her and treated her like a queen in politeness and respect asking nothing in return.

Daenaria shared one night of intimacy with the simple, pure-hearted country hero and he professed his undying love for her.

Eventually Fenn got her back home and they both knew they would likely never see each other again.  A sad parting but one that was expected.

One night of love was all it took.  Soon it was obvious Daenaria was with child.  The elven elders of her village were perturbed at the prospect of a half-breed among them.  But Daenaria was adamant about keeping the child of her and Fenn's love.

Trinaephalaryeth was born one summer’s day at dawn.  Daenaria named her 'little-wandering-sunshine'.  She had her mother's beautiful blonde hair and her father's vibrant green eyes.  As she grew up most of the elves ignored her but she wandered the elven community watching and observing all the time.  She never actually spoke a word to anyone save her mother and even her only a word or two at a time until she was 8.

Then as if the flood gates of curiosity opened up she began speaking constantly asking about... everything!  As it turned out 'Trina' was VERY bright and gifted intellect; perceiving and conceiving things far in advance of her maturity.  She had inherited her father's boldness as well as his kind and heroic heart.  Trina sat in and watched as the young elven warriors were trained in swordplay and archery, she sneaked into the lecture halls where the young apprentice magicians did their studies.  Trina listened and learned.

On the Solstice Festival day - when all elves competed in games of skill and art; martial, magical and mundane she always competed and though she was mostly ignored - slowly but surely her antics and determination earned her a level of respect and admiration for the skill and craft she showed.  The elves did not keep her from competing for to do so would be to acknowledge her presence something few were willing to do.  But slowly indeed some elves began to treat her as part of the community waiting to see what next wonder she might perform!

Last year Trina startled everyone by displaying martial and magical skill in the competition!  This earned her the recognition of one of the more famous competitors a Trealanthalas 'Brightstar' a wizard of no small skill.

It was then that the elders felt some action was needed.

But Daenaria intervened telling her beloved daughter that it was time for her to seek knowledge of her father's world and that the elders needed time to consider her presence among the elven community.  Daenaria implied that Trina's absence might prove that she has had no ill effect upon the community in fact a positive effect upon the community.  In this case Absence could make the heart grow fonder.

Trina agreed.  She was indeed curious about the world of men and what her father was like.  So she set out from The Great Forest, to travel and adventure across Caithness and neighboring kingdoms of Al-Wazif and Al-Haz seeking  her father and understanding of what her human culture had to offer.

She had adventures and eventually found herself with a close group of adventurers traveling Yurth in seek of new adventures.  However, her ship the Triumphant Eagle {a 'prize ship' won from an Al-Wazif pirate and slaver} was caught in a Banestorm and was wrecked.  Trina woke up on the beech of a new world on the Isle of the Three Sisters and has been trying to find her place in this world or a way home.  Still she seeks her father...
