Loranys was trained as an Eldritch Knight since she was very strong and athletic, and not as intelligent as her sister, a powerful wizard.  She left her village of Grey Elves as a result of a controversy at which she was the center.  Had she defended her honor, she would have indicted her sister, which she was loathe to do despite her innocence.  She left with her best friend, Krysnys, a cleric gnome fighter from a nearby colony, to find an adventure and new home.  Now that Krysnys is "married" and starting a family, Loranys feels an even stronger bond with Theo, with whom she was already strongly aligned due to their experience on the farm when the others were not present.   Her experience with her two former love interests, Hawk and Panian, in combination with the controversy that forced her to flee her village, has made her determined to remain celibate.  She knows that love can weaken the mind and she does not trust her own heart.

She is spontaneous and remarkably clumsy given her athleticism.  Her spontaneity sometimes results in hurt feelings, when she makes a biting remark, or worse, danger, when she sets off a trap.  She is loyal to her friends, and wants to be needed by them.  She is currently trying to manage her new alignment (Neutral Good).

She is pale with dark eyes and silvery hair.  She is of average height and build (for an elf) and values music, fine food, and art and nature.  Most of all, she would like everyone to make it home to the farm--even Mokellos and Euphala.  She believes many interpersonal issues will be resolved when they are finally out of Ravenloft.
