T'hovan Duerillo

Name: T’hovan Duerillo
Race: Maegolathian
Gender: Male

Physical Appearence: T’hovan is an uncommon species. Maegolathians are large, heavy, and thick-skinned creatures that, to those who know them, are physically impressive; and one could say they have the looks to back it up. T’hovan, himself, is a Maegolathian with rusted brass colored skin; his face, and a few other places on his body such as the hands and feet are hardened almost like a Carapace. He has four horns; two which point upward from the top of his head, and two much smaller ones that cover and protect the openings for his ears. This guy has about six eyes, three per side of his head, and his mouth has three “jaws”, the lines similar to that of the inner part of the peace sign; mouth lined with teeth. Despite his… rotund appearance, he’s quite strong/muscular, and large enough to carry things such as weapons that might require two hands with one.

As for what he wears, he often favors black, grey, and navy blue; wearing a suit that could also be chalked up to be kevlar or padding of sorts, with a white undershirt. He also wears boots with metal claws on the toes. He doesn’t wear much armor because one, he’s heavy enough as it is, two, he believes he looks better this way, and three, he’s got enough vitality to take a hit.

When it comes to his personality, he often speaks with an extremely “official” tone. He’s a very patient man, and to add to that, will normally try to find a benefit, mutual or otherwise, out of most situations. Despite having patience with the fortitude of a thick wall, he’s not above extremism to see his job or means done. He can be pretty heartless and lacking of mercy or compassion for those deemed “in the way”, or those who are negatively affected for what he does. Let’s take a step back to his patience. While he is extremely patient, his patience isn’t infinite. When someone makes him snap, it will be noticeable; because it’s almost always a spontaneous and usually violent event.

Flaws:

Big Guy:  And i’m not talking about the guy’s round-ness here. His species is naturally big, and he stands at about 7,6 to 8,0 feet. Using things made for, say, humans will be problematic, and he’s pretty damn heavy. More often than not, he might find trouble or a little bit of awkwardness using things that other people are able to without an issue, if size could hinder him.

Pissed off to Hell:  Sure, he’s patient, but when he’s enraged, he seeks blood. Almost always, he will seek out the person or thing that made him snap, and he will try to break it. A few things hold him back; one, if attacking said thing is suicide. Two, if the business-wise benefit is too great (He’ll try to kill them after they’re no longer useful though). Three, if he’s knocked out, sedated, etc. Otherwise, he’s determined to remove things that break his patience, and it’ll take convincing to get him to back down.

Obsessively a Businessman: There’s always a business end to things. That’s the only end he’s concerned with. If he sees a man getting brutally attacked, or a child being kidnapped, he often won’t step in due to a “moral obligation”; no, he’s not interfering unless there’s profit. While, surprisingly, not dead-greedy, it’s just his mindset. If there’s no business, no benefit, it’s not worth touching. This goes for less extreme situations too; friend wants to have a drink at the bar? Only if there’s some profit or something to discuss. He does like to have some R&R at times, but normally he stresses himself with the business end of things.

Skills/Upsides:

High Vitality:  Due to his species’ size, toughness, and natural constitution, he can take quite the beating should it be required. Getting shot won’t make him flinch depending on where most of the time, and he can keep fighting for a while.

Bigger is Better: While his size may get in the way of using normal-sized things, he can use it to his advantage. Not only is he heavy and can hit like a truck, but he can normally hold things or wield weapons that would normally take two hands to use, with one hand. Additionally, from his size and look, an intimidation factor is likely.

Street-wise/Businessman: “Street knowledge”, business, and things relating to such are his field of expertise. He knows how criminals think and work (being one himself) and he normally knows how to make the most out of a situation that relates or can relate to his criminal knowledge or business.
