David Von Ersch
(Dav-e-d, 'e' as in "EEP !")

As a native citizen of the beautiful city of Krezk (Barovia), David had always been attracted to the darker side of things that were native to these dark lands. As for his heritage, unwittingly, .. or wittingly and thus trying to hide it to the best of his knowledge half his heritage comes from that of a gypsy. Or more commonly referred to as a Giomorgo. Knowing all too well the implications that it might have David in his paranoia to strangers, has kept his part to hide who he truly is. Not open to many, it would take more then a trusted friend to try to explain to him what it means to have the blood of a Vistani course through once veins

Furthermore, David always had a troubled health issue. At times the man coughs up blood when straining activities must be dealt with. Drinking certain herbal teas does seem to limit the troubles he endures. Yet. For one to fully understand the nature of this health issue one would have to go back to when he started dabbling into the black arts of things. As with knowledge comes power. But such a power comes with a price.
