However, due to the political climate in France, her father made the difficult decision to send pre-teen Nour to live with distant relatives of her mother in England, the baronets Gascoigne residing in Parlington.

During Nour's first season in London, guided by her mother - now joining Nour-Imene in hee stay, along with her recently born little brother - she found herself engaged to a promising suitor. However, tragedy struck when her fiancé died shortly before the wedding in a horse-riding accident, leaving her heartbroken. Seeking solace and a change of scenery, she made the decision to distance herself from England during her mourning period. Nour spent several years in Lebanon, living with the extensive Lebanese branch of her family.

In Lebanon, Nour had the opportunity to immerse herself in a vibrant culture and pursue her education. The Lebanese education system provided her with the freedom to explore various subjects, broadening her knowledge and deepening her understanding of the world. Nour developed a particular passion for literature, history, and languages.

Now, at the age of 25, Nour-Imene returns to London, eager to rejoin the social scene and participate in the first season of her younger friend, Nimue. She carries with her the experiences and wisdom gained from her time in Lebanon, arriving with a determination to embrace her own identity, beyond the confines of societal expectations.
