Thoma is a tall, slender woman with pale powder-blue skin (as seen in Classic Star Trek, rather than the deeper shade seen in Star Trek IV) and long snow-white hair. Thoma doesn't back down from a challenge, and tends to see herself as one of the Federation's protectors against its enemies. She chafed somewhat under her new non-combat assignment while the Dominion War raged in the Alpha Quadrant, but is determined to do her best.
