Physical Description:  Kelly is a slim, fair-skinned young woman of 5'7" in height, with a petite figure that tends to make finding clothing that fits right a massive pain in the ass.  Completely unironically, that's also how some people tend to view her (mostly those who can't get along with her, or are the targets of her clients) - a complete pain in the ass, which runs counter to her being rather easy on the eyes.  Born to an Irish-American father and an Asian mother (whose country of origin changed depending on her mood), Kelly has a smooth, youthful complexion that makes it difficult to pinpoint her actual age, something that has been both a blessing and a curse, particularly in her chosen line of work.  Dark chocolate colored hair is her natural color, matching her brown eyes, and both qualities tend to stand out against her fair skin.

Kelly's wardrobe is about as varied as her hair color, which changes fairly regularly as a job requirement (though right now, she has it natural).  From jeans to business slacks to skirts, tank tops, blouses, dresses, leather and denim... when she's on the job, Kelly wears what is necessary to remain low-key.  However, her favorite attire consists of comfortable, worn jeans, a low-cut top, and a comfortable, aged leather jacket if the weather is at all chilly, one that has a pocket over the left breast perfect for keeping a pair of rugged aviator sunglasses on hand.



Distinguishing Features: Fair, almost pale skin, youthful features, visible Asian heritage in her complexion.

Characters History: Born to a father who is a Journalist by trade, and a mother who was a lawyer up until Kelly's birth, by all respects she should have had a rough upbringing.  Truth is... Kelly's childhood and teenage years were relatively normal, much to the dismay of her friends growing up.   She had her fair share of bad dad jokes from her father, and her mother's staunch insistence to constantly shuffle what country her family actually came from was a constant source of amusement and annoyance, but all in all she lived a good family life.  She finished highschool early, and having inherited the inquisitive nature of her parents' minds, Kelly went on to study psychology and criminology for a few years.  That was when she left home, and after living in an apartment of her own and working as a legal assistant at the firm her mother had worked for (and still consulted for), Kelly managed to pay for her own living expenses, even in downtown L.A., although it came with frequent late nights and a diet consisting of the cheapest, most economical foods.

Following her post-secondary education, Kelly quickly found her calling.. not in the legal world, nor in psychology, but in the field of private investigation.  Having met and worked with a number of PIs in her time as a legal assistant, Kelly came to the decision that this was what she wanted to do.  She didn't want to deal with the mentally unstable any more than necessary, yet she was devastatingly good at reading people and understanding how their minds worked.  In addition, she did enjoy helping people, in her own roundabout way... so she started working as a freelance Private Investigator in downtown L.A.  For the year she worked there, Kelly racked up nearly two-dozen story-worthy cases, and made something of a name for herself.  Why, then, did she leave?

As good as the business was, she had no hope of competing with the massive industry in Los Angeles and the surrounding area.  Paparazzi, massive corporations, legal entities and the like... it wasn't feasible, and she had never been a fan of big cities.  So, Kelly took her practice on the road, following the work and, to a greater degree, her investigative nose.  That same nose eventually led her to Baybridge, a quaint little town too quiet for it's own good...

Goals: Kelly's goals tend to shift with the weather... In truth, she doesn't really have an end-goal in life at the moment.  Short term... she likes pulling skeletons out of the closets.  Her goal, therefor, is to find the really big one.  A state-known or nationally known politician, a particularly well-off family, or a national corporation...

Likes:  Alcohol, catching people in bad lies, classic rock and metal music, putting assholes in their place, liquor, messy cheeseburgers, swimming, people who can tell a great story, people watching.

Dislikes: Having really poor alcohol tolerance, people who lie badly, humidity, big cities.
