Abiforth is the un-official uncle to many, and god-parent to others. Many in town know he is an elan, which is a race that don't reproduce biologically.

He has been around for quite a long time, at least twice as long as the oldest of the elder elves. He is almost always tinkering with a new item he is creating, or jotting down notes.
