Volund is rather large for a dwarf in both height and in width, his body seeming to be a large mass of muscles. When visible his body is covered in scars and calluses, proof that he has seen his fair share of battles. He seems to permanently have a stern expression on his face, the wrinkles reinforce the idea that it has been that way for a long while. His hair is salt and pepper in color although still well groomed.

The dwarf wears a variety of leather hides to defend himself, with a chain shirt over top that seems to be almost black in appearance. A crossbow, on a strap, hangs from his left hip but otherwise he seems to carry no weapon. In battle he usually wears a large steel shield with his family's crest of a wyvern painted in the center. He wears a backpack that seems to carry more than it should. On top of all of this he wears a short dark blue cloak of fine silk.

Default Actions:

• If he has not already, activate Pummel Style as a swift action.
  
• If an enemy is within melee range use Flurry of Blows.
  
• If an enemy is nearby use Pummeling Charge to charge and then Flurry of Blows.
  
• If only a flying enemy is in combat. Draw and attack with crossbow.
  
• If Volund or another ally has less than 10% hp, use magic sack to get potion as a move action and use a healing potion as a standard action.
