Benjamin Pikesdale is the descendant of Thaddeus Pikesdale, the original town founder before he was ousted by Hiram Stillwater.

Benjamin is a kind but arrogant man who meddles in the affairs of all of his children and grandchildren. He laments the loss of the town and quietly blames the Stillwater family for practically everything.
