General Appearance: Nikolai may not be the sort to turn heads, but he is a classic sort of handsome. His dark hair and eyes and somewhat angled features do make him stand out in some settings, and during his time overseas, people assumed he was European over American more often than not. He has a lean, somewhat athletic build. At work he's often seen in casual workout attire that's easy to move in. Outside of work, he often dresses much nicer and is almost always seen in a vest and tie.


HISTORY
Personality: Nick is a patient man, a byproduct of his job. He's compassionate and thoughtful, with just a bit of dry, smartass wit when the occasion calls for it. Though a bit of a homebody, he does take a genuine interest in people, and enjoys seeing them better themselves and achieve their goals.

About Your character: Nikolai grew up in a small town in the middle of nowhere. Never one for the typical activities in the area of football, fishing, or hunting, Nick spent a lot of his time as a kid reading and learning. He had a fascination with science as he got older and after graduation, when to college and then to medical school. His father had served in the military in his younger years, and while Nick didn't want to follow in his footsteps exactly, he knew there were men and women who could use his help nonetheless. As a way of paying respects to his family, Nikolai became a physical therapist on a civilian contract overseas, treating and working with soldiers in Afghanistan.

As the war effort died down and fewer and fewer personnel were needed abroad, Nick was sent back to the States. For a brief time, he was stationed at Fort Irwin in California, but recently he received word that he would be transferred to Camp Grady in Stillwater. Nick has never heard much of the place, save for a few strange rumors that people have shared with him discretely since the announcement of his new assignment. Nick has recently arrived in Stillwater and despite it reminding him a great deal of the small town he grew up in (and subsequently left) he is determined to settle in and make the best of it.
