Doctor Hor'bocht Wrrech

Doctor Hor'bocht Wrrech is a Batarian scientist who is in league with the pirates who 'kidnapped' General Thanix.

Wrrech is an exile from the Batarian Hegemony who made himself unwelcome when he started preaching his opinion that batarians should ally themselves with the geth, and augment their physiology using nanotechnology and artificial intelligence.  He is being pursued by a batarian Special Intervention Unit for his crimes.

He is a pro-synthetic extremist who dabbles in weird science: artificial gene synthesis, synthetic genomics, molecular biomimetics, metagenomics, biotic oneirology, and apparently, husk-ifying dead bodies. He experimented on the colonists of Eingana, creating hideous quarian/lizard hybrids.

Wrrech and Thanix shared a correspondence that indicated the two were partners in some mysterious enterprise.
