Raised by his human father after his mother died during childbirth, Jamgretor "Gret" grew up in a small village near Daggerford. He showed great potential skill with a sword at the age of 6, when he saved his childhood friend from a stray goblin, thus earning the nickname "Swordhand." Gret's father took note of this, and trained his son for years after (not only how to fight with a blade, but archery and wilderness survival skills as well).

  Gret's mostly quiet life was shattered when he was 14 years old, when a fire giant warlord named Lord Dragmire and his army passed through the area, burning his home village to the ground. Those who weren't slaughtered were taken prisoner, and Gret only narrowly avoided capture by hiding in a well.

  Gret swore vengeance on Lord Dragmire. From that day forward, he lived the simple life residing in several different forests, helping injured wildlife but showing no such mercy to any monster that dared oppose him.

  Jamgretor Swordhand is about 5' 9", weighs 130 lbs. and wields a hand-and-a-half sword that he's nicknamed Dragmire's Bane.
