Ahlysaaria

Ahlysaaria Zauthril  sorceress, 119 years, )

Youngest of the old Matron Mother's daughters and twin to her brother Vhurdaer, Ahlysaaria is the odd child out. Unlike Thraele and Drisinil, Ahlysaaria does not particularly resemble their mother, she is unusually small for a drow female, standing as short as a male, and even shorter than some of them. Yet unlike Jaedrel, Ahlysaaria is beautiful in her own right. She's thin as a whip but has lovely curves on her small frame, and a lovely heart shaped face. Her grin full of perfect white teeth is wicked and devious and she has a cunning and deceptive mind.

It was obvious even from a young age that Ahlysaaria would never make a good priestess. Her frame was too small, her muscles too weak and her mind had a habit of wondering and she was easily distracted. While the priestesses of Arach Tilinith might have been able to beat the latter out of the girl, she would never make much of a warrior. And she proved far more interested in the arcane arts, having been born with a natural magical ability. Since she already had several daughters that would one day make excellent priestesses. The old matron mother decided to let her youngest child do as she pleased, and didn't stop her from attending Sorcere.

Though she will never be able to lead the house as matron mother herself, Ahlysaaria considers herself the smartest and most talented of all her sisters. And she has a habit of sticking her fingers into every undercut deal and minor operation going on within the house, always on the lookout for an edge to use, to the great annoyance of her sisters, who see her as an upstart little brat.

Most recently, Ahlysaaria disappeared during one of the battles with the Duergar while the city was under siege. She wasn't seen again for nearly 9 months and all but the Matron Mother assumed her dead. Yet Ahlysaaria re-appeared more recently, her belly obviously swollen with child, and her mood distinctly sour. When asked where she has been she either lies or ignores the question. Though her sour mood might be related to her current condition as the child inside her seems to cause her great discomfort, leading some to suggest the child must be sickly.

She wears A cloak which is fashioned from multiple layers of fine silk. Along the hem is a row of glittering red scales.
