Malachi

Mortal
To mortal eyes, Jeremy McVade is a tall young man with wild, kinky hair and peculiarly deep eyes. He looks graceful, with symmetrical features and a compelling command of gesture. (More careful observers, especially ones to whom he's not currently speaking, may notice that his actual movements don't fulfill the promise of his appearance.) He's lean and long-limbed, qualities he emphasizes with skinny jeans and a leather jacket whose sleeves are cut long. In an intentional thumbing of his proverbial nose at the shoe game, Jeremy usually sports Doc Martens that were in style when his parents were in high school. He complements the black jeans and black leather with colorful scarves, worn around his head or tied over his clothing at the joints. It's a little punk and a little Prince.

While many enjoy watching young master McVade, more are swayed by his voice. He's got a gorgeous tenor that's equally at home singing a hook or spitting complex bars. Even in casual conversation, it's easy for people to get caught up in his language. He talks fast and with unnerving enthusiasm about everything that crosses his mind. As his voice swoops and soars, his hands provide a perfect accompaniment, almost literally conducting his conversation.

Fae
To enchanted eyes, Malachi is everything he is as a mortal, only moreso. His face his leaner, with a nose that looks straight and sharp enough to cut cheese. His skin is darker, marked carefully with dots and whorls of bluish ink. (He'll tell you quite sincerely that the ink is made from stardust, naiad's tears, and ink spilled out of time by ancient Persian scribes.) Malachi's hair goes from 'wild' to 'improbable;' the shagreen headscarf seems to direct it without at all containing it. His voile features a jacket much like his favored mortal one, only with wider lapels, sleeves and hems that extend to points. Over black leather pants, he wears calf-high, swash-topped boots.

His voice? Well, his voice is exactly the same, but it suits him perfectly.
