Gelben 'Nutty' George

The Fruit Bowl is a store offering fresh produce at surprisingly competitive costs and Gelben George - most commonly known as 'Nutty George' - is its Boggan grump owner.  He gets his name from the fresh roasted nuts he sells in-store and has been known as 'Nutty George' for so many years that many locals don't realise that 'George' is not his first name.

Gelben likes to talk and can happily spend all day in his store, nattering to the customers and divulging information on what fruits and vegetables are in season, where they come from and how they can best be used in cooking.  He always has a bit of curious information that he might be willing to divulge but as everyone knows he's a chatterbox many of his regulars are careful about what they tell him.

Nutty George's shop does not always do well but he manages to keep the place open somehow.
