Sir Dalan sometimes known as Dalan Silvertongue or Dalan Softhands is the 25-year old master of Tisbury manner and the Banneretcy of Dover's Crossing. He is a handsome young man with dark brown hair and green eyes but his most distinctive features are his legs and hands, both of which are shapely and smooth to the point of womanishness. Given Sir Dalan's background to have uncalloused hands is particularly strange, but they do seem to heal from any bruising remarkably fast.

Sir Dalan speaks in a fine, clear tenor and is famous for his ability with song. Sir Dalan isn't noticably Lustful but he is rather popular with the ladies of Salisbury. Despite these courtly airs Sir Dalan is actually of very humble stock indeed, knighted for his services during the recent wars and still a little at sea amongst noblemen born, something of a sore point with him. This lowborn legacy has left him eager to appear as cultivated as possible in finer company (especially that of noble ladies).

Though not the county's finest warrior he can ride and wield sword and lance well enough.
