Background:
Evander grew up in one of the poorer areas of New York, with his mother. They were exiled to live in poverty when his grandparents found out that his mother was pregnant out of wedlock. They lived as best they could, treating themselves when they had extra money, and rationing themselves when the money was tight. Evander eventually graduated Summa Cum Laude, and attained a well payed job teaching Archaeology at the University of New York. He works to help the impoverished get into good schools, if he feels they have the potential.
