There isn't anything mysterious about her past, but the edges seem a little foggy. Rosalind has always been good with animals, but it feels like some of the stories from her childhood belong to another person. A more magical person.  Did bees lands on her hand without stinging her? When did all the dogs from the neighborhood stop waiting for her school bus to arrive? Did those families just move away?

Now her magic is medicine --the work and magic of careful examination, patience, planning and exhausted compassion.  That soft connection between her and animals is just..disconnected.  But now in the final months of veterinary school her perception seems to be honed to an edge.  At first it was wonderful -- she felt like she was finally becoming a veterinarian!  But lately she's started to notice weird things about some of the patients.

Personality:  Rosalind is usually exhausted by her patients, and currently oscillates between frazzled and thoughtful when she isn't focused on an immediate task.  Her dark brown eyes seem soft, as though they carry the memory of something beautiful and a little sad.  Her curly black hair is usually in a messy bun--it escapes often.  When she finally catches up on sleep, Rosalind moves with a purposeful bounce to her steps and a dry witticism on her tongue.
