Thaddeus Hiram Wayair III is the patriarch of the immensely wealthy Wayfair family. Since 1960, the family has lived in town on a hill that overlooks everything. Mr. Wayfair has his hands in a bit of everything, or at least tries to. The towns young people have been his greatest adversary in trying to turn the town into a cash cow.



Thaddeus is a serious man with an assumed lack of humor (or personality for that matter), he is a straightforward consummate professional who almost always gets exactly what he wants. His overall personality, when dealing with things that don't involve money can be described as apathetic snobbery.
