About Your character: Born to a middle class family the middle child and only girl, Vanessa was always competing for her parents' attention. Her brothers were perfect in their eyes and could do no wrong while everything she did was wrong.
As soon as she graduated high school and 18, she set out on her own with a couple of friends who tried to get gigs. They did okay for a while but Danny OD'd and Mic decided it wasn't all it was cracked up to be so went back home with his tail tucked between his legs.
By that point, all hope was lost that Nessa would ever be able to go back home. Bridges had been burned and her Bible thumping parents had closed ranks, telling her to straighten up or never darken their doorstep again. All it earned them was a one-fingered salute and she's been on her own ever since.
