General Appearance: Nicole is a slimly built woman standing five and a half feet tall with dark brown hair (though she sometimes lightens it a little) and dark brown eyes.  She dresses fashionably yet tasteful or even classy though also enjoys the sloppy, comfy stuff.

Personality: Nic is friendly and personable, somehow blending in with people of all social standings.  She's honest and tactful, wiser than her years as if tempered by personal tragedy yet unwilling to let it tear her down.

Employment (Employed/Unemployed/Student etc.):  Currently attending the university, working on a speech and occupational degree and works at The Tanked Fish.



About Your character: Nicole's family was quite wealthy at one time though her father had a penchant for betting on sports and lost a fair amount over the years.  He died in a car accident when she was a junior in high school.  There was enough from the life insurance to allow her and her mother to live comfortably and she started college right out of high school but her mother was diagnosed with ovarian cancer her freshman year.  She took a hiatus from school and took care of her mother until she died and has gone back to school.

She's always been a good student and also learned sign language at an early age as her best friend in kindergarten was deaf.  She's also learned Spanish so has helped some with the school system interpreting for those families and students who don't understand English.  Helping people learn and communicate is her passion, knowing it is the bridge to everyone learning to accept each other and get along.
