Distinguishing Marks: Ari has a tattoo that appears almost like scales that start at the nape of her neck and goes down to her tailbone. She also has a small scar on her right hip from a nasty fall off her bike when she was 8 years old.

General Appearance: Arielle stands at the height of 5'6", with a heart-shaped face and smooth porcelain skin. She has sweet pink cupid's-bow lips and curious, but gentle hazel irises that light up when she is excited or interested in something specific. Her shoulders are small and her stature overall is rather thin, but she usually chalks it up to her morning running routine for keeping her strong and in shape. Long lean legs and small feet grace her lower half, and her brunette hair falls to about chest length. High cheekbones and a bony neck structure are often accentuated when she smiles, and even more-so when she laughs.

Her usual attire often consists of a basic pair of jeans and a comfy tee, although the pretty brunette is fully capable of dressing up when required. She enjoys a pair of great heels just as much as she loves her Chuck Taylors, so it's usually anybody's guess what she will wear to her next show.

HISTORY

Personality: Ari is a happy gal, someone who often does her best to look on the brighter side of things. She is first and foremost a creative, and is extremely passionate about music, the arts and anything that gets the creative juices flowing. Her ideal night free of responsibilities would probably include late night pizza, pillows and blankets and a cheesy romantic drama or a good book in her reading chair. Yet despite this, Ari is a well-intentioned social butterfly: she loves to be around people and can be rather flirty when meeting others for the first time.

About Your character: Arielle was born in Vancouver, Canada and comes from a background of musicians in that her father Irving Hendricks is a trumpet player with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra and her mother Lorna Hendricks, a jazz pianist. Yet not unlike her siblings, Ari was adopted into the musical family when she was 3 years old, joining 3 other siblings from the same adoption center: Jakob (29, Outreach worker), Oliver (28, prodigy cellist) and Veronica (26, bartender).

Growing up was relatively uneventful for the Hendricks', despite their busy schedules and the constant movement in their daily lives. Ari was a happy girl who loved listening to her mother and father play, latching onto their musical coattails very early on. Throughout high school and well into post secondary, Arielle maintained her love of music and percussion instruments through a number of friendships and local connections she had, eventually being cast through some very intricate connection to Rumba del Sol, a 6-piece Afro-Cuban band that had been looking for a replacement conga player. She has been playing with them for just coming up to 3 years, excited that she is finally living the life she's always wanted.
