Background
Michael Rothschild was born to one of the wealthiest families in New England. They had familial and financial ties into almost everything. Michael Rothschild Sr. did not believe that wealth and privilege came easy. He tested his son as soon he was old enough to walk and speak on how a Rothschild was expected to act. The family had a long history of Noble Obligation. The family motto incorporated this, "To Serve All."

Michael Jr. was always physically, mentally and even socially gifted, but at age 12 these areas seemed to accelerate beyond what a normal preteen could have. He was tested believing at first that there was a possibility that the Alpha wave had effected Michael. At first, the doctors discovered no change, but with subsequent examinations they discovered that Michael was actually using a greater percentage of his brain thus allowing him what seemed to be superhuman abilities.

Michael Brain has not seemed to reach its full potential yet. Doctors are uncertain what that level is, or what future effects that Michael's growing mental capacity would allow.

Michael's codename is David. One of the Doctor's called him patient David for the purposes of the tests, and to insure the Rothschild's privacy. He chose David for two reasons. The first being, Michael seemed to be able to overcome any obstacle in his way. He often seemed at the disadvantage, but like David of the bible he was able to face any challenge. The second reason was that in Michael was Michelangelo's statues, David, come to life. Man's continued evolution

Powers
Michael's increase brain activity allows him to effectively control most physical processes in his body. He is not necessarily that much stronger or faster than a normal human based on his physique, but his mind allows him to use his body to peak performance. Basically, the difference between a well tune up car and one that is not.

Michael realizes that he is not the super powered powerhouse that many other Alphas are. He has developed gear to help make up the difference. His primarily two weapons are his telescopic staff and a ranged weapon that has been nicknamed the Slingshot. Michael developed his staff using the principles behind the German police Shock Sticks. Coils are wrapped tightly in the casing increasing the strength beyond the attacker's strength. The Slingshot is a medium range high pressure Pellet gun that is designed into a bracer format. Michael took existing designs, and used his increasing knowledge of tech to modify them to his needs.
