UNDER THE HOOD:

Personality:
One word that would describe September is competitive.  She grew up in a family being the youngest and only girl after five brothers.  Her family has always been about running, wrestling, and playing football.  As a member of the family she's managed to keep up with her brothers- two of which are in the NFL.

She has a quick sense of humor and is fairly rough and tumble.  She is very much aware that she's not a "girl" so any romantic interaction tends to make her nervous to the point of complete incompetence.  She overcompensates by becoming competitive usually to putting off her date.

Frustrated with the lack of love life, September focused on her athletics. She was on the Olympic Relay Team.  They won gold two times in a row and she was approached to become a Field Agent for the FBI.  She took to the Agent life like a duck to water.  When the WOPA was formed, her commander suggested that she apply.

Strengths:
She's a fast runner.
High Stamina
High Level of Dexterity.

Weaknesses:
Social Skills
Has Seabiscuit syndrome (Will do anything to stop someone from passing her up.)

GETTING REAL:

Occupation/Position in Society: Agent for WOPA

Background/History:

Oddly September was born in the Spring not the Fall, but her mother was- as her father explained- artistic.  She liked the song September Morn, the Neil Diamond version.  Since Tempi was a girl, her father had shrugged it off- he had balked at her plan to call her twin brother August, though and he'd accepted her calling him Neil instead.  Tempi had always been relieved that she'd not been named Diamond.  Mom had left when she was five, leaving her and her five brothers high and dry.  Mitchel- the oldest took point in organizing and running the family.  He'd gone Marines rather than SEAL.  It wasn't much of a surprise.

Dave and Allen- had found Football in high school. Ben had taken after Dad and gone into the Navy.  It was Neil who had rebelled and gone into of all things Theater.  She'd taken up the slack for him by picking up running.  At first she'd trained with Mitchel until he'd left to join up.  Then she ran with first Dave and then Allen as they conditioned for tryouts.  By the time she was ten she'd run her first marathon.  She liked long distance.  She liked zoning into the run.  When she was twelve she'd helped Ben prep for his military future- coaches were already paying attention to her.

By the time she was fourteen she was training seriously for the Olympics.  Just to show her brothers how serious she was, she'd got her GED soon after, so she could train full time.  They'd liked that- her competitive spirit.  She'd get emails and phone calls from the big four pushing her, challenging her- only Neil remained passively supportive.  Maybe that was why she felt a stronger bond with him- or maybe it was the twin thing.

The first Olympic trial she'd come in one below the cut.  Even though she would have been the youngest Track Olympian ever, it beat her to the ground.  She trained twice as hard for the next one and taken great pleasure in beating her old times into the ground.  She'd made the team the next year, and the year after that.  Her gold medals attested to it.  Of course, Allen had made it to the Superbowl the year she got her first gold.  Dad had played them against each other.  She had two gold medals- Allen only had one ring.

Joining the FBI had felt right.  It was a new challenge, and exciting challenge.  She'd reveled in the competitive spirit, and then she'd been asked to join WOPA.  She knew some of it had to do with her issues with other Agents in the field.  WOPA was a backwater- a job that looked pretty on the surface but wasn't going to take her anywhere.  Truth was, she was tired of the chase to be the best.  She just didn't know how to be anything else.

Why are you in Cidervale?

September was transferred into WOPA when it was first created to be a charter member of POINT.  Her job is to keep the peace in a generally peaceful town.
