Ten Monkey "Halfcheek" Xien was a scar-faced ex-mercenary who trained a rabble of beggars, slaves and whores into a force that could take on the Houses themselves. His revolt was eventually crushed when the nobility united to run Xien's forces to ground at the Battle of the Drunken Crane, but due to the peculiar circumstances of the battle Xien's body was never identified.

Legend has it that he's out there still, a patron saint for the downtrodden, the queer and the exploited.
