Yidel is a dark, greasy little man who sells guns to "sandheels" and ensures the slave trade from the east remains profitable. He's generally affable and hard to faze, whether speaking at spearpoint to an unexpectedly-encountered gang of Jegge cultists or smiling at Miir's nobility over a glass of wine. It's impossible to guess his loyalties at any one moment, and whilst it is an open secret that Yidel engages in certain practices illegal in Miir, particularly with any exotically pale slave boys that might come his way, no-one dares use the information against him. Yidel could persuade water into running uphill: he could certainly have talked his way into indispensability with the notoriously difficult desert tribes.
