A young elf maiden turned over to the Jester for mutilation for the terrible crime of resisting the sexual assault of and being kidnapped by a member of House Al-Krujar. Persuaded, stolen, abused and/or seduced by the Jester in the wake of her House's tardiness in applying due vengeance for this insult, Gisella has taken a new name to run off with the Carnival and refuses to heed the call of her Lady.

Considering she may be suffering low-level infection from the shards that make up her 'beard', it is possible Gisella is completely insane from metal poisoning, constant pain and dehydration: barely drinking Dreamlily provides more relief than barely drinking water. Her throat is almost always patina- or bloodstained from the holes in her lower jaw.
