Grandmother Coin-Scarf

One of the earliest saints, Shajah Al-Miir was Naros' grandmother, and when the land around Lake Miir became a fortress inhabited by thirteen once-enemy tribes, it was Grandmother Coin Scarf who spoke in defense of the land itself, fought tirelessly for the protection of Miir's natural water resources, and pushed for the creation of the earliest iteration of the sewers of the Belly. It is due to her that Miir's endemic subspecies of Rose-Flushed Sooty Finch still exists, and that the Houses take pride in the proverbial clarity of their pools.

She is generally invoked by those suffering water poverty and travellers at dusk: her native birds will lead a petitioner to a drinkable source or the nearest safe area where they nest.
