There was once an impious whore names Isabel, who lured Lord Usama Al-Hastur into decadence, urging him to forsake Ba and tear down The Saints for strange idols of a king with a veiled face. This he did, and when the Pardoners warned him that terrible things would come of it, Isabel asked her lover to bring her the Pardoner Ayatollah's head on a golden platter. This he did, sending his executioner forth. But when the head was revealed to Isabel, it began to speak in such heartbreaking tones about the greatness of Ba that all marveled at the miracle. Lord Al-Hastur's heart broke when he realized his folly and he died, and Isabel was captured and thrown from the top of The Tower itself, whereupon she was trampled by horses and eaten by mongrels, and there was no body to bury.
