One of Annabelle's many "playthings of the year" she fell in love, paraded him around as the next big thing, grew tired of him and then discarded him. Now Bret seems to just be going through the motions. He shows up at events like a good little Toreador but he doesn't seem to have any direction or purpose in unlife anymore after being abandoned by Annabelle.

He gets clocked by all kinds of people and genders, and he loves the attention. He dresses more androgynously in his old age, flaunting his flexible preferences loudly. Everything he owns is fashionable to the week, and his hair is always perfect.
