Personality:
Sebastian has grown into his role as mentor and teacher as well as spokesman during his time with Department H and Alpha Flight.  As the leader of the X-men he was plagued with doubts, suffering nearly as many defeats as victories.  He still struggles with delegating at times but he is much more comfortable.

In general Seb seems happy and more relaxed than he used to.  He is still the guy who will be at the front, protecting anyone he can, particularly those he cares about.  With his close friends he is intensely loyal.  He's not always great at expressing it but he does care about everyone working under him or with him, particularly those who show dedication.

He achieved a degree of fame with the X-men, particularly when they took down Brother James in front of millions of viewers. His work with Alpha Flight was more notable in Canada but he's been active in various media and while he's not as famous as some heroes, his alter ego is certainly recognizable and well known. His friends and family keep him humbled though. That said, he can sometimes be a bit of a dork, though that mostly only shines through when he's around people he's comfortable with.

Appearance:
Sebastian doesn't age when in his stone form and spent several years in that form.  Really, he has the body of someone 10+ years younger than him.  Years of life in the forest and then as a member of the X-men and finally working with Alpha Flight has left his large frame muscular and well defined.  Sebastian stands at 6'2 in human form with bright blue eyes and brown hair.  He generally stays clean shaven.

In stone form he stands at about eight feet tall and tends to resemble his human form with the same proportions, though the colouring changes a bit every time he transforms.  One time he might appear marble, another granite, another obsidian and so on.  His deep voice takes on a raspy quality in stone form.

His uniform is relatively plain black with gold trim down the leg of the pants and on the shoulders of the short sleeved shirt.  He's got a utility belt with various pouches and black boots.  On his belt is a gold X in a circle with a red Maple Leaf in front of it.

Ariel is his dearest friend by far and they've been through a lot together both as co-leaders of the X-men and as regular people.  They've helped each other through some rough patches, though they have plenty of good memories too.  Even now though she is no longer an official co-leader, Sebastian relies on her advice and support.  He knows that she won't hesitate to call him on his shit and that he can count on her.  She was the one who convinced him to join Haven.  There is little he wouldn't do for her.

Powers:
Sebastian has the ability to turn into living stone (much as Colossus turns to living metal).  His size grows and his durability and strength greatly increase.  He feels no pain in this form though he can be damaged.  In this form he does not need to eat, sleep or breathe.  He doesn't age in this form.  Standing still in this form he is indistinguishable from a statue, apart from his uniform.  Though he cannot physically sleep in this form, his mind does require rest.  In periods where he has been stuck in his stone form he utilizes meditation to refresh his mind

Sebastian also possess terrakinesis.  Namely, he can affect the earth around him, moving and shaping stone for both defensive and offensive uses.  He had found many uses for this ability from domes to duplicates to weapons to braces to sculptures and more.  He can also move through the earth with no resistance, much as a person walking or running or swimming.  When he does move through the earth he shows no signs of his passing.  He has shown limited ability to affect metal as it is refined ore.  However, his level of control is nowhere near what his control of unrefined Earth is.

Mundane Abilities:
In his careers as an X-man and as a mentor to Alpha Flight (and sometime active member) Sebastian found himself fighting a lot of battles in a lot of strange situations.  He learned early on that he couldn't rely on his super powers, impressive though they might be.  After being granted Exacalibur he made a point of learning to use it.  Excalibur was repossessed several years ago but Sebastian continued training with various bladed weapons as well as various firearms and hand to hand combat forms.  He also helped Kim Diaz refine a form of martial arts she developed to make use of super strength.

Sebastian is quite active in various forms of social media and has been for several years.  Early in his tenure with the X-men, Sebastian learned the value of good publicity and how easily a group like the X-men could be smeared by anyone with an agenda counter to theirs.  He set himself to countering the various slander campaigns.  He has since had some formal training thanks to his work as spokesman for Department H.  A video he made speaking out against the mutant registration act went retroactively viral after the defeat of Brother James, though before that it had not received a great deal of attention.

Sebastian also earned a degree in Geology during his time as a student of Xavier's.

He can speak English and French fluently.
