Power: Caleb's body can generate a large amount of electricity. He is immune to electricity from outside sources, and can actually absorb electricity, draining the power out of machines, robots and even buildings, if in contact long enough. However, he can only absorb so much before overloading, which means he needs to find a way to release this pent-up power.

His electro-powered body grants him superhuman speed, endurance, agility, flexibility and reflexes. He can't reach Quicksilver speed, but is slightly faster than Spider-Man or Iron Fist.

Caleb can only release (and absorb) electricity through touch. These are usually delivered via kick-ass martial arts, or through the detachable metal staff/ beat sticks he carries on his back. He has also tinkered with bracers that shoot out spiked metal cables, making him a human taser. He can also use these cables to swing and grapple up (which is totally not a rip-off of Spider-Man, so don't even say it).


Personality: Enthusiastic, energetic, cocky, confident and big-hearted. Caleb always dreamed of being a hero, which gives him the courage and conviction to use his powers for good, but also makes him take risks or act impulsively. This partially caused by his overheated brain, which makes him think fast, act faster and run his mouth the fastest.

Caleb loves the idea of being a hero, but has yet to experience the loss and true danger that might entail. What he lacks in maturity, he makes up in enthusiasm and hard work. There is leadership potential here, and a bright mind that could go on to do great things. A side effect of his supercharged body is an ability to learn things quickly... And forget them just as quickly if he doesn't practice.
Physical Description: Tall and lean, with a runner's body and not an ounce of fat. Tan good looks that comes from a lifetime in the desert, with a bright smile and stark blue eyes. He keeps his blonde hair long, and if he doesn't tie it back, tends to stick up in crazy directions.

He's usually in athletic clothing, t-shirts, shorts and track suits. His costume is a modified X-Men uniform with a hood over his head, goggles over the eyes and metal plates in every "strike point" (knuckles, feet, knees and elbows) to better conduct electricity.

Background: Caleb grew up with an obsession with heroes. Mutants or otherwise, he was glued to the TV every night to hear about the latest New York centered craziness between superheroes and supervillains. Phoenix, Arizona was a long way from the action, but he lived through the stories he heard, and him and his buddies recreated their favorite fights in the desert behind their houses.

But he grew out of it, his parents pushing him to do better in school. By the time he went through puberty, he was good at school... And at sports... And martial arts... Pretty much anything he set his mind to, learning quickly, able to power through the day with excess energy. It wasn't well into his teens that he realized he was a mutant, and the static shock he kept giving off was actually coming from the supercharged battery that was his heart. By then he was on a scholarship at Berkeley, and being so close to Los Angeles didn't help his dreams of being a world-famous superhero celebrity. Designing his own costume, he took to the streets of L.A., breaking up muggings and robberies, and always making sure bystanders got a good picture of his kick-ass costume before disappearing.

It was only a matter of time before X-Corps tracked him down, and with an offer of being an X-Man trainee was too good to pass up. Imagine the fame! The stories! The endorsement deals!
