Power: Healing  Leo is capable of stimulating the body's natural healing process to incredible levels through touch. This is a very draining process for the patient and to a lesser extent for Leo as well. He's very new to using this ability but so far he's been able to figure out that really his power only seems to work well on trauma, allowing him to repair injured bone, organs and tissues.

He hasn't figured out how to help with illnesses or infections (accelerating those processes could kill someone) and can't help with issues that are the result of unwanted cell growth, like cancer. He could potentially combine his abilities with traditional medical techniques for a much greater result however (ie. excising a tumor and then healing the surrounding tissues.) and as a result has begun to get medical training.

Leo does have a good 'sense' of the damage that he can repair when he touches someone which makes him incredible at trauma diagnosis.

It should be noted that Leo's powers work on his own body, so things like maintaining his physique, hair and skin all just happen naturally.


Personality: Leo's generally a very relaxed, serious guy. He's an introvert who reads a lot and thinks even more. At heart he's a country boy, having grown up in the wide spaces of Montana and he likes the outdoors and his personal space. Large groups tend to make him uneasy as do strangers. Large groups of strangers are right out.

Generally he's most comfortable behind a guitar, tending to lose himself in the playing and forgetting about all the things competing for his attention.

Generally he's pretty amiable, but he has a short fuse where selfishness and stupidity come into play. He's also got an unfortunate tendancy to call a spade a spade which can piss people off. Leo's an incredibly principled and moral young man. He does what he can to help those in need and is having an awful time managing the emotional burden of his powers.

Physical Description: Leo is a very attractive young man, a trait he'd planned to use to become a front man for a band. He has impossibly-healthy, long, lustrous brown hair, perfect skin and intense eyes.

Leo's physique is lean and muscular with a lot of definition. He could easily work as a model if he were so inclined.

He is not so inclined.

Background: Leo grew up in Montana, the 3rd and youngest child of Robert Gibson (a retired Colonel in the Marine Corps. and his wife Amelia an amateur astronomer and science fiction writer. His two older sisters are Cassieopia and Carina who work at IBM and Stark Industries respectively.

Leo's sisters moved away when he was fairly young as they were both much older than he but as a result he ended up spending much more time with his parents. From his father he learned about honor and respect and from his mother he learned about open-mindedness and imagining a better world. They were both amateur guitar players and one of Leo's fondest memories is sitting with his folks and playing music together.

Col. Gibson had a lot to teach his son about the world and the kid was a good student and until he was about fifteen or so, Leo had planned to follow in his father's footsteps, until during a heart to heart with his father, the elder Gibson asked him not to.

After some long-hard thought, Leo decided on using his looks and talent to get into the music scene in LA, but his audition with the band he was looking to join went a little too well (long story) and he found himself out on the street with his guitar and bloody knuckles when he was offered a job playing with a house band by a club manager he met by chance.

The club manager wasn't a club manager, the meeting wasn't by chance, and Venezuela is not nice this time of year.
