Dani is a pale-skinned young girl who appears about 8-10 years old.  She has brown hair and hazel eyes.  She looks sad when she thinks no one else is watching, but puts on a cheerful face when she knows that she's being watched.  She tends to dress in darker hues of blue (her favorite color), brown or green.  She prefers blouses and skirts with leggings more than jeans and t-shirts, but she typically wears comfortable tennis shoes.  She often carries a ragged backpack in the shape of a bear.  Lately, she has taken to wearing glasses...not because she needs them, but obviously because she thinks they make her look older and smarter.
