Clayton resembles an odd mixture of both dramatic and unassuming traits. Tall, lean, and handsome, he has a passing resemblance to Val Kilmer's portrayal of Jim Morrison in The Doors with long wavy hair and intense eyes. However, time and culture have demanded certain changes, and he is more apt to be found wearing that hair constrained in a ponytail while wearing a mid range business suit instead of the open neck silk shirt and bell bottom pants. Everything about his poised stance and relaxed countenance suggests a 'retired hippie' from the latter part of the psychedelia movement. There is also something of a militant aspect to his dress, a regimented functionalism more fit for someone born of a military school like Henry Rollins, or a politico playing at militancy. Truly, he's all over the political, social, and identitarian landscape, and that's the point:
