Kansas Kate

Not every outlaw is famous, but then again, not every famous outlaw is Kansas Kate.

She ain't particularly tall, and is honestly kind of skinny.  Long dark hair falls in loose tousles from a hat coated in trail dust.  The long duster is likewise discolored into a blend of all the colors she's ever ridden through.  She tends to wear buckskin gloves, but even when she takes them off, there's a smaller, sleeker velvet glove with the fingers cut off which stays on her right hand always, to hide the pentagram burned onto the back of that hand.

She has a little bit of style though.  Her pastel violet blouse is silken and ruffled, giving at least a little color to the drab ensemble.

She might have been called purty once, but a cut across her left cheek and a few odd burns and scars here and there have destroyed any trace of delicacy in her features.  But it's those eyes that really tell.  Dark, sunken and haunted, those dark eyes have seen the elephant.

She has invested a great deal into leatherwork.  .44-40 catridges adorn custom loops in her gunbelt, which is tooled and printed with a Celtic Knot pattern and a silver buckle which repeats the design.  The holster likewise was made by the same leatherworker and follows the same motif, though a little bit of green dye on the knot insignia on the holster gives it some personality.

In that holster rides a deeply blued Schofield No.3 with pearl grips, selected not for aesthetics, but rather because they don't expand or contract in heat, cold or humidity.  The front of the trigger guard has been cut away by a gunsmith, and the hammer spur is significantly longer than stock.

She hefts a Winchester over her shoulder.  The boot was likely made for a rider to keep his carbine in, but she's added a strap.  The levergun is mostly stock, except she's opted for a slightly enlarged lever loop and adjustable tang sights.

The large knife rides on her thigh, lowered and offset, with a burled walnut handle, brass pommel and guard.
