Physical description (including weight and height):  Pre-pandemic Amy was a slender woman, months of hardscrabble living have sharpened her features.  She's 5'8" and barely 120 lbs. Her dirty blonde hair is long and she often wears a beany and an oversized sweatshirt, even when it's warm in order to stay warm.  Her eyes are green/blue and her gaze is sharp and observant.  While she does smile, her neutral expression is a slight frown at he very edges of her mouth. She often has paint on her hands or under her fingernails.

Personality description: Amy may appear a bit snooty, but she is actually quite warm when you get past the first impression.  She is not the fastest to trust, but does so when you show her you deserve it.  She has a well of grief under a strong exterior and she works hard to tamp it back.

Character History: (a brief history of your characters life to date):
Amy is a foster kid.  All she has of her parents, perhaps just mother, is the name Wynthrope.  When she was little she used to day dream that she would one day be claimed by her English Aristocratic parents from whatever foster hell she currently found herself in. She was never adored by any foster family, "headstrong," "defiant," "unruly" were often the complaints when she was inevitably booted.  Really, she was just unwilling to live in a way that she felt underserved or unloved.  Again, determined to defy all odds, Amy managed to get herself accepted into art school in New York just out of High School.  While in New York she met Zachary Masters an up-and-coming chef in one of New York's newest restaurants: La Parisienne.  Amy was becoming a name in her own right.  Her third year of art school found her booking private venues showing her art and selling it for thousands of dollars a piece.  Both she and her boyfriend were becoming front page names, at least on the New York circuit.  When Zachary won one of those cooking shows, made $300,000 and left La Parisienne to open his own restaurant, he asked Amy to marry him and she ecstatically said yes.  Things were great for them for a while.  They were high on success, rolling in dough, both famed in their own right and in love.  5 years, three miscarriages and the stress of juggling two demanding careers later, things were going very poorly.  Zach and Amy fought a lot.  He spent more nights out with friends or working than home in bed. She rarely saw him at gallery openings and he never cooked for her anymore at home.  On her 31st birthday, Amy surprised Zach at his restaurant after closing when he was wrapping up things to come home and found him with one of the waitresses' legs wrapped around his waist.  Amy was heartbroken.  That night she left her 3 carat engagement ring on the kitchen counter, packed some things and went to live in her studio.
It's been 4 years.  Outwardly her life was back on track, her career never faltered and she has paintings hanging in MoMA, the Madrid Museum on Modern Art, San Francisco, Sydney, Paris, and the homes of countless millionaires.  She owns her own gallery in the heart of Manhattan.  But she hasn't found anyone to fill the shadowy hole, she feels her baby making years rolling away and she's not happy.
Just before the pandemic, her best friend Mary got Amy to go with her on a last minute trip to Florida, just to get away and get some sun ("you look like you could be in a "Twilight" movie and I am not sure if you'd be a vampire or a body double for that pale, skinny b* Kristen Stewart").  When the pandemic hit, Mary actually ended up in the hospital with the first wave and died there, Amy was stuck because of the travel ban and then life went to hell in a hand basket and she's been in Florida since.  Not knowing anyone, she's made shrift for herself as she can.  And she always has two or three cans of spray paint to make her mark and bring at least a little joy and color back to her world.
