Stereotype: Jaded Saleryman, Otaku.

World: Devilman (Manga)

Arc: The climactic battle between the Devilmen, lead by Akira Fudou (Devilman) and the Demons, lead by Satan.

Personality: In terms of personality, he remains a cynical and bored 21 year old, Otaku Saleryman, even more so how the world turned out after the demons attacked. But he has become more violent after merging with a demon, being filled with more bloodlust and an urge to fight and kill. As for his morals, he has the archetype of an anti hero. He won't kill for no reason, and will protect those who are defenseless, but he does it to quell his urges and mainly for himself.

Appearance: a average man of 6 feet in height, with broad shoulders and an imposing stature. He has black hair in a messy style, with formerly brown eyes that have since turned a blood crimson. His skin have become paler and his teeth have sharpened a bit.
If he chooses to transform into his Devilman form, his appearance changes to that of a beast of a grotesque insect// humanoid appearance. It is said to be a sort of cross between a rhino bettle, and a hornet. Not a very friendly look, to have.

Gimmick: Demons have the uncanny ability to merge with other beings and assimilate them. However, if the person being possessed is of pure heart, they will experience the phenomena of retaining the human heart, but at the same time, receiving the powers of a demon.
 As a result Matsu has received demonic powers, such as flight, super human strength, super human reflexes,  and the ability to shapeshift into his demon form.

Powers: As a demon, Matsu has access to a wide arsenal of abilities, such as shapeshifting to a limited extent, flight, super human strength and reflexes, as well as stranger abilities like being able to produce venomous stingers from the top of his wrists, and the ability to grow two smaller arms from his rib-cage. He also has a limited ability to reattach severed limbs as long as they aren't too mangled, as well as the signature demonic ability of fusion.

Techniques: the ability to merge with other creatures. Matsu can fuse with other beings, and gain their characteristics. However this is used as a last resort due to the change being permanent, and that Matsu loses a bit of his human side the more stuff he adds to himself. There is also a high risk of the dominant conscience consuming the weaker one.
Matsu possesses the powers and characteristics of an insect. Specifically of a hornet and a rhino bettle.
Stingers: produces stingers from wrists.
Wings: creates insect-like wings from the back.
Armour: an exoskeleton like shell provides protection.

Equipment: Matsu has nothing aside from a few Manga he likes to read.

Advantages

1) Veteran: Matsu has seen alot of messed up stuff as a Devilman, so it takes alot to put him on edge.

2)Patient: being a Saleryman, Matsu has learned to be very patient with life.

3)Determined: He didn't pay the bills on luck alone. Despite him hating his job, he is dedicated to doing the best he can at what he's doing.

4)Good drinker: Him, being able to hold his liquor, and his demon enhanced liver, make a good drinking buddy when your feeling down.

5) Empathetic: He's been down in the dumps before, so he'll hear you out when your feeling down.

Weaknesses:

1)Demon Physiological Weaknesses: demons can be killed if the receive critical injuries to the head or heart.

2) Limited Energy: Maintaining a demon form puts stain on one's body. If Matsu runs out of energy, he will return to his human form. At the maximum he can maintain his demon form for 8 hours at a time with 6 hours of rest to regain his stamina fully. This number goes down the more damage he takes as the amount of rest needed to recover goes up.

3) Focus dependent:if you jumble his psyche up enough, via psychological or mental attack, he will lose hold on the demon inside him, and lose control. The end result is him going berserk.

4) Short temper:His demon half has made him violent an hotheaded, making it easy to piss him off and lure him into a trap.
