Carina Valascu is a youthful elven woman of pale, aquiline complexion with a mop of black hair braided with colorful beads.  Her bright amber eyes are keen and ever-watchful of potential dangers in every shadow.  She is most often garbed in traveling gear of bohemian styling, with tight leathers contrasted with loose, flowing sleeves and and pantaloons gathered at the ankles above her black leather boots.  Her wide belt is laden with pouches, a row of sharpened stakes and a pair of sheathed smallswords hanging from either hip.  A long recurve bow of fine yew wood is slung over her back along with a quiverfull of black-fletched arrows of her own making, and oddly enough, a small bird cage.

Carina is a resourceful outdoorswoman and well-studied in lore of the monsters she hunts, which she hopes will make up for her relative lack of field experience.
