Physical Description: Blake has always been a pretty girl, but people have a tendency to not want to look past the tattoos and style to see the girl that lies beneath them. If the did however they would see a perfectly proportioned face with a well defined jaw and cheekbones and large grey eyes. Her appearance makes it so that she had a tendency to stand out in a crowd, but she's never really minded that much since she's confident in herself ignores the criticisms of those who judge her do to her alternative looks.

She has platinum blonde hair that falls to her mid back and often has one side shaved very short. Her makeup is often heavy and her clothes tend to be darker and in a more alternative style. From her history in modeling, Blake is relatively thin for her height, but still has a lovely hourglass shape and feminine curves.

Personality: She generally has a positive outlook and likes to have a good time. Despite this however, she can be tough when needed and fiercely loyal to those she considers important in her life.

Weaknesses: Sometimes can be too forgiving. People who are emotionally hurting.

Fears: Giving up and giving in to the darkness.

The Not So Human (work in progress)
Species Description: Blake is a demigoddess, the semi-mortal child of a deity and a human. Her godly heritage comes from her maternal side with her mother being Nyx, the Greek Primordial Goddess of Darkness. Because of this her grandfather in turn is Chaos and her many half siblings make up a large part of the primordial gods and goddesses.

Powers and Abilities:

• Darkness Generation- the ability to create and manipulate areas of darkness or tendrils of shadow.
  
• Darkness Healing- Blake is able to heal minor injuries sustained by herself and others using darkness.
  
• Night Vision- Ability to see clearly in total darkness.
  
• Night Empowerment- Blake is strongest at night.

Godly Relic: As a bargaining piece in trying to convince Blake go to Rhodes, Nyx offered her the Ring of Erebus, an item that was created by Nyx’s brother. The item allows Blake to render herself invisible in darkness and increases the strength of her darkness generation ability.

The Story
Character Background:  Blake was born as the only daughter to Nyx and a well-known musician. Her father didn’t, and possibly still doesn’t, even know that she existed. Almost immediately after her birth, Blake’s mother knew that there was more of her mortal father’s side in Blake and less of Nyx, causing her to abandon her child. This caused Blake to be orphaned and placed in the foster care system.

She learned of her true parentage when she as 12 after Nyx came back to visit her to see if she had become the embodiment of darkness that she had been hoping for. She was disappointed once more however and left Blake again. After this meeting though, Blake now knew why she had the abilities that she did and learned that she was a demi-goddess.

Shortly after this “awakening” she began to experiment with the abilities that she had in order to gain a better understanding of herself and what she was.

During her teenage years, Blake also became heavily influenced by the music scene (a gift from her mortal father) and learned to play guitar and train her voice for singing. This was also when she illegally got her first tattoo and fell in love with the art and with body modification, knowing that that was what she wanted to do as an adult.

As soon as she could, Blake found herself placed in a tattoo apprenticeship and started working her way to the top. She now owns her own tattoo studio in Los Angeles and also works doing occasional modeling jobs.

Recently she decided to move from LA to Sanctuary after a bad string of relationships. The setting is quite a bit different from what she's used to, but Blake is hoping that it will help her start a new life and renew her creativity, hopefully serving as an inspiration for her art.
