THE PHYSICAL

Physical Description: Wesley is an attractive and well built man standing at 6'1" and although hes never been one to watch his weight he takes care to stay in good shape without being obsessed with going to the gym. He has dark brown hair that he usually wears styled and a typically has a short layer of matching facial hair adorning his angular jaw. His eyes are equally as dark as his hair and along with all his other features, seem to perfectly suit his face shape.  He often dresses a tad bit nicer than simply casual and although he often wears well fitting jeans on the bottom for shirts he sports a variety of dressier options including button-ups and jackets.

Distinguishing Features: As of right now, there is nothing to distinguishing about Wesley at a first glance. He has no strange scars or tattoos on his skin. However on his right ring finger her wears a ring that belonged to his grandfather.

THE PERSONAL

Personality Description: Wesley has a friendly nature and usually walks around feeling confident while managing to not come off as cocky. Even if he has had it better than other people in his life he tries not to let that get in the way of how he feels about or views some one else believing that its not about where you came from but instead is about where you are going. He knows that he was fortunate to learn about magic before coming to Brakebills and therefore enjoys helping those that didn't once they get to the school. He's smart and does well in class without acting like a know it all or suck up and often helps tutor the students in the years below him.

Goals: His biggest goal is to not end up Traveling somewhere that he shouldn't and getting killed in the process. Traveling is inherently dangerous so everything else is second to that.

Likes: As cheesy as it sounds, Wes loves making people smile. He likes seeing the leaves change color in the fall and the first snow of the year (although the rest of the snow can just leave). He enjoys reading a book next to the river and just hearing the sounds of nature. Wes is a pretty good cook and has always enjoyed making meals for other people.

Dislikes: There aren't too many things that Wes doesn't like, but he is afraid of spiders and hates wearing cheap shoes.

THE BIOGRAPHICAL

Characters History: Wesley Moore was born and raised in Rochester New York as the youngest of two children in his family. Both of his parents were Brakebills Alumni but in an effort to have their children lead normal lives they kept magic hidden from them until they began to show signs of it manifesting. But even then they never taught their children to assume that they would end up being accepted to Brakebills when they were old enough. Growing up, Wesley was taught that being a Magician was a privilege, not a right.

It was when he was in high school that he finally started showing signs that he could be a Magician and although he had learned about what ran in their family from his older brother he was still surprised when it started to happen to him. From the start they knew that he had psychic tendencies, but it wasn't until he turned 15 that they realized that he was a Traveler. Wes's first experience with it was an unfortunate case of astral projection while he was sleeping that left him terrified and thinking that he had died and was now a ghost. After almost a 24 hours he figured out how to get back to his body and his parents introduced him to one of their family friends, a skilled Traveler, who would become his tutor on the subject.

Life continued on as normal and when he was 21 he found himself on the Brakebills campus to take his exam after walking through a doorway in the library. Although he struggled through the written part of the entrance exam he completed the practical portion with ease and was excepted into the school as a Psychic Kid and was given the Traveler specialty before long.
